The Catalog VE supports the creation of a new text and display of all texts within a catalog. The Catalog VE supports sorting and filtering from the main pane and search and browse from the Utility Panel.
The Catalog VE encompasses the following constituent features:

The Catalog VE is augmented by an Properties Component, the Catalog Properties Feature.
Create Text Feature
The Create Text feature supports the creation of a new text within the existing catalog.
Text Attributes Feature
The Text Attributes feature supports the specification of the text title, text ID and label.
Text Metadata Feature
Feature developed – feature content still to be supplied.
Sort and Filter Catalog Feature
The Sort and Filter Catalog feature is accessed from the main pane and supports sorting and filtering of texts. Results are displayed in the main pane.
Search Catalog Feature
The Search Catalog feature is accessed from the Utility Panel and supports text string searching of the ID and title fields of texts. Results are displayed in the main pane.
Browse Catalog Feature
The Browse Catalog feature is accessed from the Utility Panel and supports browsing through text records in the catalog. Functions include next and previous records, next and previous page of records, last and first record. These functions operate on the entire catalog text record set or a set constrained by the Sort and Filter Catalog or the Search Catalog feature. Results are displayed in the main pane.
